HydroBLADES is the newest dragonboat tribe to emerge in South Florida, adding another level of competition to this region's fast growing dragon boat community. Our debut at the Central Florida Dragon Boat Festival on 03/15/08 couldn't have been any sweeter - we brought home the GOLD in our division finals and showed that we are fierce!  We just finished our National Competition debut with a respective 4th place and a team best time of 2:12 in the 500M.  We also took the Divsion I B Gold medal in the Long Beach View Sonic Dragon Boat Races.  We would like to thank the Rogue Warriors for hosting us, we loved everything you did for us!

Our belief is that what brings us closer as a group that has a tight knit bond is that we all struggle, sweat, and push each other to be the best. That's why we take our practices seriously! However serious on the boat, we are polar opposite off. On land, we want nothing more than to be wild, wacky, crazy rascals who want to have fun and develop our friendships! This is the reason why HydroBLADES came to be. This culture is one we want to foster. Like-minded paddlers are always welcomed!
